Hi everyone and welcome to another series of ViewPoint.
For those new to Viewpoint, ViewPoint brings together the opinions or “viewpoints” of people on subject matters. Basically I would ask some people their thoughts on a particular issue or matter and compile them for you all to see. The aim of this is to realize how people think and to appreciate the diversity of thoughts. Continue reading
Hello everyone. How’s your day going?
First of all, I want to thank you all for still sticking around and to my new followers, welcome, please feel at home.
So lately, I have been processing things, I have been figuring things out for myself Continue reading
“Common 50 naira”
“Is it not common 15 naira pen?”
“Just to go to market you cannot go”
“Just because I borrowed your jacket I won’t hear word”
“Just because of a book you are disturbing my life”
I’m sure all these must sound familiar. People say these things because they feel it is “just this or that” or it is “common”. Continue reading
So, today, I was asked by someone to refer a post on my blog to him that he probably could connect to. The thing is I couldn’t. Yes I had posts but I just couldn’t point out one I felt would be so helpful at that moment. Then I just started thinking. What have I been blogging about? What is my blog about? Why did I start blogging? What’s my aim of blogging? I realized I wasn’t satisfied with what it is now and I have decided to do something about it.
What if you can’t do things like others?
What if you are not as good as others?
What if you are not as cool as others?
What if you can’t command a presence like others?
What if you are not as pretty as others? Continue reading
My graduation is coming up soon and I’m a bit or maybe not excited. Anyway, I studied Medical Laboratory Science at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana and my graduation was supposed to hold between 28th to 30th of September but I heard last week that it has been shifted to between 19th to 21st of October, depending on the day my faculty falls on.

Is it right for a man to hit a woman or a guy to hit a girl?
Yesterday when I came back from work, just right after I had settled in, my brother brought up this question, is it right to hit a woman? Of course my mom, my sister and I answered that it wasn’t right to hit a girl. He then asked what if the lady provokes the man or probably slaps the man, wouldn’t it be justified?
We all argued (everyone in the house) and it was fun and enlightening. At the end of it all, I learned some things and also thought out things too from the discussion and I’d like to share them Continue reading

I have ever been in a situation where I was accused of not greeting someone (Nigerians can sha take greeting personal). The person was like didn’t you see me? So you can’t greet, a young girl like you and so on. Sincerely, right there, I couldn’t even remember if I greeted her or not because I was busy (I think) but I know I greet a lot (Has someone ever dragged your ears when you were a kid for not greeting? I’ve always known this, but today something happened that made me think about it. Why do people abuse things that are not theirs? It’s not your own, don’t you know of something called moderation? At least behave like it is yours and maybe, just maybe, you would manage it better. People tend to over-use, over-do, over-spend or Continue reading
On Sunday, I spoke rudely to someone and the funny thing is truthfully I didn’t know I was rude until my sister later told me I sounded rude. I felt bad though because that wasn’t my intention and I knew I sounded that way because I wasn’t in a good mood plus I had a lot on my mind. I immediately apologized.
Sometimes people do things to others they don’t even realize they did. Some may be quite aware of what they did but others truly don’t know you might have been offended by their attitude or words. Continue reading
